This is Tana Gilbert’s first short film, developed at age 19, marking her debut in documentary filmmaking and establishing the thematic line she would continue in her work.
Zulema is a woman who has to deal with disappointment as she reaches the end of her life. She tells the story of her family and all the effort she has given daily to subvert the few opportunities of destiny.

In 2013, the film was widely recognized in the student film circuit, winning Best Short Film at the Festival de Cine de Mujeres (Chile) and receiving official selections at festivals in Chile, Brazil, and Canada.It was also selected at the BioBio Cine Festival (Chile), showing continued interest beyond the student circuit.
